event overview
During this event, Devlin will bandolier different weapon sets.
Each weapon combo he uses, grants him special abilities.
Devlin will emote just before he changes his weapons.
A couple seconds later, he'll emote that he's grabbing weapons from the rack, and cast a big AE.
With every weapon change after the AE, he will randomly summon a person from the raid and start to attack them.
During all these weapon changes, he spawns adds which must be
dealth with.
strat
When we engage Devlin, and everytime he emotes a weapon change,
everyone will run out of the room. We will /rs to MOVE OUT of the
room to avoid the AE.
Randomly, people are emoted and the area is AE'd. To avoid this AE, we will call in to move either EAST or WEST. We will show you both these spots before engage, so no worries.
Devlin has 4 weapon combos: Axe, Whip, Potion, and Daggers
He equips a shield when he uses his Axe, Whip and Potion
combos. We have a special team set up to break his shield.
It's important to not cast on Devlin when he's in these shield forms
until we give the go ahead.
As mentioned earlier, each form has a unique ability:
Axe - Once we break shield and engage, there's an AE rampage in this form.
Whip - Devlin picks a random person to send emotes to (like simon says trial, remove weapon emote, duck etc).
Potion - He has a potion that he throws at random people. He'll emote his intended target, shortly after that, a short range AE DD will go off from the center of where that person was standing when emoted.
Daggers - He hits hard and fast in this form.
Assigned CC groups will handle the adds with mez and OT'ing.
As always, have a separate chat window set to "other" to catch personal emotes.
